On 20 March, the All-China Metallurgical Chamber of Commerce held the first president's office meeting in 2024 and the two sessions of the National People's Congress. The meeting, with the theme of "gathering strength, boosting confidence, and continuously promoting the high-quality development of the metallurgical industry", studied and implemented the spirit of the two sessions, and discussed the development direction of the steel industry and private steel enterprises.

The meeting was held in the form of "online + offline". Zhao Xizi, Founding Honorary President of the All-China Metallurgical Chamber of Commerce; Zhang Haiden, Deputy Director of the Department of Raw Material Industry, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology; Fan Tiejun, Deputy Secretary General of China Iron and Steel Industry Association, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Metallurgical Newspaper Society of China and President; Ding Liguo, Chairman of the All-China Metallurgical Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Delong Iron and Steel Group; Jia Yinsong, Secretary General of the All-China Metallurgical Chamber of Commerce; Zhang Ronghua, Representative of the National People's Congress (NPC), Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tianjin Rongcheng Xiangtai Investment Holdings Group Co; National People's Congress, Zhangjiagang City, Nanfeng Town, Yonglian village party secretary, Yongzhuo Holdings, vice chairman of the board of directors Wu Huifang; National People's Congress, Taishan Iron and Steel Group, party secretary, chairman of the board of directors Wang Yongsheng attended the meeting, the National People's Congress, Zhang Zhixiang, chairman of the board of directors of the Jianlong Group, provided a written statement. In addition, some industry experts and the main leaders of the Chamber's presidential units and relevant department heads attended the meeting. Ding Liguo presided over the meeting and said that we, the Chamber of Metallurgy, should further play a good role as a bridge to better serve our member enterprises, the metallurgical industry and the development of the national economy.
